Does anyone know how to keep squirrels out of the flower beds? They are making a mess!!!?

I always use hot pepper flakes from grocery store and sprinkle it on top of my flower beds. It works great. Repeat after rain or whenever you don't see visible flakes.

About the only way to keep squirrels out is to enclose the flowr bed completely. Ther are some fragrant products that may slow them down such as fox urine. But, squirrels are tenacious creatures and love to explore.
Reply:Those little rascals are simply a part of nature...They are just looking for food...They have taken many of my spring bulbs that I plant in the fall ~ they don't eat any flowers, they just explore into the soil hoping to find some kind of goodie~ Try the moth ball thing around the perimeter of your garden...I have heard that works ( somewhat)
Reply:You can place moth balls around the flower beds. You can also make a mixture to spray on the flowers.

1 small bottle hot sauce

1 gallon water

1 tsp mild dish liquid
Reply:I bought a big squirt gun suppersoaker I think its called. It works to keep them out of the feeders but you gotta keep at them. I really don't think there is a sure thing that works on squirrels their to smart.lol
Reply:hi first of all does this happen to ur nieghbors.try putting acorns not too close and not too far of ur garden.and put alot so the squirells are full.or move
