squeeze and cut up citrus fruit...mainly lemons and spread them around where you don't want the cats to go. it will decay and be mulch, and the cats hate the smell. probably add some fresh ones every few days until the cats are out of the habit.
How can I keep my neighbor's cat from deficating in my flower and plant beds??
Big dog!
Reply:try stepping mothballs into yhe beds also plant marigolds they keepout most animals or buy some dog and cat NO its at the pet aisle at depot or call the nearest zoo and purchase apound of lion or tiger poop its exspensive like 50 dollars but lasts for years make a small rag of cheese cloth or an olde sock put about a marble of the big cat stuff in about four of theses tack the bags onto small stick or stakes and place them in the places the cats come the smell terrifies anything like rabbits and dogs an cats they wont come around and if wrapped tight and stored in a container in the freezer it lasts for years just make sure its marked an old gardner
Reply:12Ga, shot gun.
shells are cheap.
there is not alot left to clean up.what is not picked up and left you just turn it into the soil, its good fertilizer.
Reply:red pepper
Reply:VERY NICELY WITH AN ELECTRIC FENCE.....ASK YOUR LOCAL HARDWARE STORE.
Reply:well you could put chicken wire over the plants at night, ask your neighbor to keep his cat inside, possibly spray pestisides, build a fence...
Reply:Get a super soaker and fill it with water, when you see the cat out there blast that tabby with it. A squirt or two of water will get the point across and most likely curtail future potty visits. Don't do anything mean like a BB or something, that is someones pet, and I'm sure you wouldn't appreciate it in reverse roles.
The citrus idea from the other users is probably more effective since you don't have to be there. When my indoor cats get into something bad, I spray them with water in a squirt bottle, no harm done and they learn their lesson (mostly)
Reply:Spray him with the water hose.
Reply:BB gun
Reply:Easiest, talk to your neighbor and let them know what is happening. Of course, the owner could just tell you it's another cat. You could also squirt the cat with water. Not practical if you can't catch him in the act.
Reply:Reconsider, it is free manure
Reply:There is a product out that keeps cats away. It's called Cat Stop.

Reply:put vinegar in Dixie cups and bury them in the garden up to the rim of the cups. Cats hate vinegar.
Reply:get a scratching post from the pet shop, and buy some katnip, put a little on the post your cat should stop going in your neighbors garden
Reply:tell your neighbor to keep their cat.
Reply:put a dish of milk on your front porch for the little galfer! ( don't forget the added ingredient, anti freeze ) You will never have to worry about that cat again
