Flower bed ideas?? I live in Texas and want something native, beautiful and easy to care for.?

The flower bed is in front of my house, which is red with white trim. The flower bed is about 2ft wide and as long as the house with a gap for the walkway to the front door. There is already a red rose bush, an aloe vera plant, and some kind of iris flower. i like bright colors and would like something that is easy to care for. thanks for those who help me out!

Before planting anything you need to determine if the plants will get full sun, part sun, or all shade. Then you will need to plant accordingly. Begonias do well in Texas, azaleas make a nice bush, which blooms beautifully in the spring, and does better when facing the North. Vincas, also known as periwinkle come in a variety of colors, and are beautiful, can tolerate hot weather, and require less water than many plants. We had them all across the front of our house last year and got yard of the month. They like the sun.
Reply:I would suggest a lazy garden of Marigolds. They come in an array of colors, easy to maintain, and last through fall.
Reply:What about a hydranga
Reply:What could be better than Texas wildflowers? Indian blanket, Fire Wheels, Bluebonnets, Indian Paintbrush, Daisies, Mexican Hat. Most nurseries have mixtures you can sow.
Reply:Get one of those roll out flower beds. You roll out this mat filled with seeds and all you have to do is water it. They come in different varieties.
