PREPARING THE SOIL TOMORROW ALL OVER THE YARD

Is horse poo good to mix in w/soil for flower beds? or just vegetable gardens?
that or cow manure
Reply:both but if its not old well composted poo you will get a load of weeds etc, use steer manure
Reply:composted, it does well...fresh , it's too acidic.
Reply:Horse poo is a lot stronger than cow poo...so don't mix in as much. It's higher in nitrogen and the urine that is on it is higher in acid....so be careful or you will burn up your plants.
Reply:if you are doing it tomorrow, then try to find some that has sat out in the weather for a while. If it is still wet or fresh, then it will burn up your plants. And yes, it is really good for any plants, especially roses.

( use the poo that is all dry and crumbly.)
