don't use moth balls, I had the same problem but i use cat repellent granules, they work wonders, just have to re do it after its rained a few times, no ploblemo. Less than 2 quid for a large bottle !
Reply:Sod the cats. Just think of those poor moths with high pitched squeaky voices....
Reply:If you can buy Indian Red Pepper, that'll keep anything away for three feet. It's hot and more importantly, it burns the nose at the smell.

I did that to keep my cat from getting on top of my convertible. Now I've traded cars. The old one had a vinyl top this one is kind of felt and might be stained by such.
Reply:try Blood meal its safer..you may kill something you dont want to .
Reply:NO NO NO!!!!! Moth Balls are extremely toxic to kids pets and the environment. I use hot pepper powder in my flower beds to keep the cats from using it as a bathroom. The hotter the better cause it burns there stinky butts bad, believe me it works. I had one old tom cat who used my hosta garden, all it took was one time and I have not seen him since.
